Donate: Katie Ride for Life 2013

Katie-Ride

April 20, 2013 ¦ Amelia Island, FL

Hi Everyone!

I joined team YMCA of Florida’s First Coast in the 2013 Katie Ride and have committed to raise funds to support the Katie Caples Foundation. The goal of the Foundation is to increase the number of registered organ donors to eliminate the wait for individuals on the transplant list. Did you know more than 116,500 Americans are currently waiting for a life-saving transplant? And while 90% of Americans support organ donation ONLY 43% have registered!
Join me in raising funds to promote organ donor education. A single organ donor can save up to 8 lives and enhance 50 more.
MAKE A DONATION
It is convenient and easier than ever to support the Foundation by making your tax-deductible donation online. Whatever you can give will help — it all adds up. Thank you for supporting me at the 2013 Katie Ride event and providing hope to the individuals and families in need of an organ transplant.

Katie Caples was a junior in high school when she was involved in a tragic automobile accident, but her decision to be an organ donor saved five lives and enhanced dozens more. Her parents, David and Susan Caples created the ride in 2005 to raise awareness for the need of organ donors and create an organ donor education program.

The award-winning education program is supported by donations made to this event. Please help support me in this important project to save lives. For more information about the Katie Ride and the Katie Caples Foundation, visit www.KatieRideForLife.org.

Thank you for your prayerful consideration to partner in the mission!
